No idea why, but you're right. There's no buzz of "something big happening". I'm the co-founder of a startup (I emailed you and geoff this evening) -- I'd love to get in touch with you and discuss possible investment opportunities. There is an OpenCoffee morning in Cambridge this thursday -- http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/1819920/ I'll be going, and would be great to chat with you -- both about my startup and how we can improve the startup scene. Although, of cause, NYC is much larger than Cambridge :-) I used to go to the old 3Cs meetings with Jack Lang, Hermann & Chris etc etc I think the closest we have in Cambridge at the moment, with the same intent, is what Simon Ford is doing with SHDC.
